Samantha LaFleur, principal of the firm, has designed lighting for more than 100 projects over the span of fifteen years’ experience. Experience with daylighting design for facades and integration with electric lighting is one of her passions as is delivering innovative, fresh design solutions for interiors.  Recent project work includes designs for Boston Consulting Group’s Chicago office, the American Institute of Architects Headquarters Renewal, and an ARRA Lighting Feasibility Study for GSA’s Sam Gibbons Courthouse in Tampa, FL. Samantha is listed as a GSA Expert Lighting Consultant.

Samantha is active in volunteer efforts to further energy effective lighting design and advancing new technologies in illumination, including LED luminaire and next generation lighting controls development. She regularly participates in the International Association of Lighting Designer’s Energy & Sustainability committee, which she founded in 2003, and serves as the IALD Representative to the International Energy Conservation Code development. She has contributed to more than 20 LEED projects, including three completed Platinum level buildings.
